Presently, the medical community does not have the ability, using conventional therapy or pharmaceutical drugs, that can reverse the damage of a fatty liver. The drugs available for fatty liver sufferers only help alleviate some of the symptoms but, do not address the root cause. Additionally, the drugs prescribed also carry a some serious side effects including cholesterol lowering drugs that can have toxic effects on the liver cells.
